Board to Bowl Class - Morning Session

Service Description

Supplies - Bring an 11" round board to class (3/4 - 1" thick), or we can supply a blank for an additional $20. ---- The first session will cover the process and introduce new tools needed to create your bowl from a board on the lathe. In this 4 hour session, the process is explained, then each of the students will cut the rings from their board, then glue them up to prepare for their individual lathe time session (with one-on-one intructor support) where they will turn and finish the bowl. When signing up for the course, each student should select a followup session (9-12, 1-4, or 5-8) during the rest of the week. We ask that students choose before class begins so we can open the remaining time to other members for lathe access.
